September brought us nicer temperatures and some extra time outside. Ms. Kayla and Ms. Leslie have been helping us in Chris's absence. We were able to start volunteering this week. I appreciate all your help and thank you for being so flexible as our schedule changes at times. If you are unable to volunteer on your assigned time, please let me know so I can adjust. We identified numbers 1-10, wrote the numbers 1-10, colored the correct number of pictures for 1-10, and wrote the number word for 1-10. We practiced picking a number and putting that many items in a circle. Continue to work on these skills with your child. Next week we will be talking about American Symbols. We will focus on the American Flag, Bald Eagle, Liberty bell. We have some neat craft activities to go along with our learning. We will be going to Fall on the Farm on Thursday morning. Please dress your child accordingly. We will be returning to school for lunch. Your child may make a lunch choice in the cafeteria or bring his/her lunch.
