Mrs. Lawson's News 10/19/12
The students were great coming back off the Fall Break. They got right back in the swing of our routine. We enjoyed talking about everyone’s break and seeing the pictures they drew about their favorite thing they did on the break. Thank you for coming to the Literacy Night. If you were unable to attend I will go over the information with you at the Parent Teacher Conference. Thanks everyone for signing up for the conference. Fall Fun Night was a blast. Everyone had a great time carving pumpkins and eating with friends.
We started our 2 week unit on the Fall Season. We learned about the letter “S” and in Math we will be writing a number and deciding what is one more and one less than that number. We also talked a lot about leaves and how they change in the fall. Next week we will continue to talk about the season of fall and do some fun activities with pumpkins.
Please remember to dress your child appropriately in the upcoming cool months. Put their initials in all coat labels. Also please send a winter change of clothes to keep at school in case of an accident.
