Mrs. Lawson’s Classroom News March 15, 2013 753-5022 Stacey.lawson@murray.kyschools.us In the Classroom: For the week of: March 18-22 NO SCHOOL March 22 PD for teachers Phonics: Our letter for the week is Uu Reading: Max takes the Train Math: Addition, Subtraction, How many, and patterns. We will also be doing domino addition. Theme: Transportation- we will learn the names of various types of transportation, we will be able to sort transportation into land, water, and air travel, and we will be creating a mini book about transportation. Home Connections: Spring Swing is TONIGHT March 15th from 5:30-7:30 YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS. We will have a great time with games, food, and fun. Our basket looks great. Thank you for your donations. I hope you are a lucky winner of a basket if you bought raffle tickets for one. A special thanks to those that came and helped work our class activity: THE MAZE. It is a lot of work but worth it. The kids have a blast in it. I want to give a big THANK YOU to Brittany Farr for being our room PTO mom and keeping everything organized. We will have items in the silent auction. Please check these out. These items are open to the whole school to bid on. The items will be displayed in the library on March 15th. Reminders **March Snacks *March is very busy. Make sure you read important dates section. *Behavior reports will not go home unless there has been a paw move. Tiger Tags will continue for excellent behavior all week.
